RITA C.A.R.E.S. is a Catholic outreach ministry. We connect the elder community to different houses of worship to meet their sprirtual needs. We also provide compassionate presence to elderly individuals who are isolated, homebound, or living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Through hymns, storytelling, gentle presence, sacramentals, and meaningful activities, RITA C.A.R.E.S. brings peace, hope, and human connection to seniors, meeting each person exactly where they are.
RITA C.A.R.E.S. was created in response to a growing silence in our society around aging, dying, and the sacred dignity of life’s final chapters. While death is a universal reality, fear and isolation should never be part of it.
Whether an elder can sing, listen, speak, remember, or simply rest, every moment is honored. RITA C.A.R.E.S. reminds our elders that they are seen, remembered, and loved, and that their lives continue to hold meaning, right to the very end.
